Kia ora! Welcome to my personal blog where I plan to write about pretty much anything and everything.

My name is Amelia, I’m just a girl who has always loved reading and writing. I have decided to put everything I write in one place so people can access as and when they please. I have chosen to call the blog ‘Trivial Pursuits’ not because I plan to discuss only trivial things, but rather because I expect that my foray into each subject is likely to be mostly surface level. Like in the classic board game, my trivial pursuits will be sorted into the following categories: Art and Literature, Entertainment, Geography, History, Science and Nature, and Sports and Leisure.
